About the Festival


Dear Music & Arts Enthusiast,
Welcome to the 10th annual (June 20, 2015) Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival— Honesdale, PA’s, annual FREE music and arts event!

The Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival committee has been hard at work since last July, continuing our efforts to support the community and surrounding area by delivering this fun family event. This includes the now-famous Tunes and Tales Tent, sponsored by Lisa Macchia-Ohliger and Honesdale Roots & Rhythm, and a variety of FREE musical talent that will run throughout the day and evening all around historic Honesdale’s Main and Church Street areas.  Learn More

12:00 pm – 5:00 pm Tunes & Tales tent opens with Standingbear Native American Tales, Folk artist/singer Dave Matsinko,  hands-on historic demonstrations, Courtyard of Central UMC Church, Church & 11th St

1:30 pm – Mayor’s Proclamation by Jack Bishop

1:35 pm – National Anthem by Kylee Freiermuth, Clay Hewlett, Gabi Osegueda & Nick Theobald

1:45 pm – Chrissi Poland

3:30 pm – Professor Louie & the Crowmatix

5:30 pm – Alexis P. Suter & Band

7:15 pm – Raffle Drawing

7:50 pm – The Kentucky Headhunters

 

Late Night Ramble

10:00 pm to Midnight. – Professor Louie & The Crowmatix Performing at the Cooperage, 1030 Main Street.
