The title of Artese N Toad latest CD, They Don't Write Songs About Trains Anymore Vol 2, came from their Nashville publisher who was reflecting on the fact that no one is recording train songs anymore—that is, except for Artese 'N Toad. The train songwriting diversion has recently put Artese ‘N Toad on the map with train and Americana music fans everywhere and yielded a multiyear licensing deal with MTH Electric Trains.

Pennsylvania's Artese 'N Toad (Perry Artese and Tom DiMeo) are celebrating a twenty-five-year songwriting/performing partnership that has taken them from Pennsylvania’s coffeehouses to the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville.

Artese ‘N Toad’s past performances include Musikfest, The Bluebird Café and Broken Spoke Nashville, Borders Books and Music Mid- Atlantic, The Point, Steel City Coffee House, and The Barnstormers Theater Singer-Songwriter Series.

Summer 2006 will see the duo performing to promote the new CD. Currently Artese 'N Toad CDs are available throughout the US at railroad gift shops, CD Baby, i-Tunes, Best Buy.com and www.artesentoad.com
