The ROCKETMEN take you back to the late 1950's with their authentic sounds, gear and looks from a style that was arguably the most influential and most fun in roots Rock and Roll history! Playing all styles of roots music from New Orleans to Memphis; Fats Domino, Little Richard to Carl Perkins, Eddie Cochran to Chuck Berry; to the R&B stylings of Hank Ballard, James Brown & Ray Charles. THE ROCKETMEN have it covered. Separately the band has a very impressive history. They have all played on the music circuit in various bands for over 20 years.

Local guitarist & vocalist BILL HUNT was in the house band at the Stanhope House. That band backed up a lot of the Chicago blues men that came thru NJ. He shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Pinetop Perkins, Snooky Pryor, Little Charlie & the Nitecats, Charlie Musselwhite, and Steve Guyger, to name a few.

British pianist JOHN HAWKEN came over from England during the British invasion in the 60's. He played with The Nashville Teens who had a number one hit 'TOBACCO ROAD", The Strawbs & Rennasance. He shared the stages with most of the touring rock stars of the 1950's & 60's. He toured with Chuck Berry and also played piano behind Carl Perkins on a live record that came out in 1965.
